I DO WANT TO STATE THAT I ALSO DISCOVERED THAT THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS HAS TAKEN A POSITION ON LOCATING CELL TOWERS, COMMERCIAL WIRELESS INFRASTRUCTURE, ON FIRE DEPARTMENT FACILITIES, AND THAT THE IAFF OPPOSES THE USE OF FIRE STATIONS AS BASE STATIONS FOR TOWERS OR ANTENNAS UNTIL A STUDY WITH THE HIGHEST SCIENTIFIC MERIT AND INTEGRITY ON HEALTH EFFECTS OF EXPOSURE TO LOW INTENSITY RF MW RADIATION IS CONDUCTED AND IS PROVEN THAT SUCH SIGHTINGS ARE NOT HAZARDOUS.

I WOULD EVEN CALL IT OBNOXIOUS FROM GAILLARDIA COURT.
THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT HEALTH RISKS.
RESEARCH DOES INDICATE THAT VALUES OF HOMES LOCATED NEXT TO CELL PHONE TOWERS DO DECREASE IN VALUE, AND THAT REALLY DEPENDS ON PROXIMITY AND VISIBILITY TO THE TOWERS ANYWHERE BETWEEN 2 AND 20% OF PROPERTY VALUE.
SO, VACCARO IS THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS COMMUNITY THAT WE HAVE HERE IN WESTLAKE.
NOTHING ELSE HAS, WE HAVE ONE HOUSE THAT'S PENDING EVERYTHING OUTSIDE OF VACCARO.
EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

I THINK THE OTHER PARTS OF THAT EQUATION WERE WE'RE MEETING THE NEED OF THE COMMUNITY WITHOUT EXTRA OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS TO US AS A COMMUNITY, AND THERE'S SPACE RESERVED FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES, ANTENNAS, WHICH IS ALSO WORTH SOMETHING.
SO IN TERMS OF I THINK, I THINK IN TERMS OF A WHOLE PACKAGE, THIS IS INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDED TO HELP THE COMMUNITY THAT YOU'RE GETTING WITHOUT COST TO THE CITY IN TERMS OF PROPERTY VALUES.

THESE ARE LOW LEVEL, NON-INTENSE TYPE FREQUENCIES, NON-IONIZING RADIATION.
PART OF THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT OF 1996 INCLUDES A SECTION IN 47 U.S.C.

THE EXPOSURE IS JUST SO MINIMAL THERE'S NOT A HEALTH CONCERN.
